A keyboard is a device that has few buttons or keys under it, and each key acts like an electric switch. Suppose you have to delete a computer file, then you just press the delete button on your keyboard, your file will be deleted.


Who invented the keyboard and when?

So friends, the keyboard we are using was first invented by Christopher Latham Sholes (Christopher Latham Sholes) in 1875.



How many Keys are there in the keyboard? And whose job is it?

There is no correct answer to how many keys a keyboard has under total, but a keyboard has only a minimum of 84 keys and a keyboard has more than 102 keys and a keyboard also has 101 keys. .

Depending on usage, the keyboard can be divided into about 5 sections.

1. Function key:

By using all these function keys, you can do some specific tasks, such as F5 is used to refresh the computer with a keyboard, F2 is renamed using F2.

2. Arrow Key:

In the right side of the keyboard, a total of 4 keys are seen, the key above which is the arrow icon, the same 4 key is called arrow key. This key works as cursor as well as edit, so it is also called as arrow key as well as edit key.

3. Alphabetic Key:

Under the keyboard, you get to see A to Z Alphabet keys, that's why all those keys together are called Alphabet keys. Do you know what is the work of all these Alphabetic Keys? All these Alphabetic keys have different work, these keys are used for typing, for shortcut work, and for many other tasks.

4. Numeric Key or Logical Key:

Under the keyboard, you get from 1 to 0 as well as some extra keys such as (+, -, *) etc. All these keys together are called logical keys or numeric keys.

5. Special Key:

The list of special keys is very long and all the special keys under a keyboard are very useful. The number of special keys under a keyboard is not all of them as well as their work is also told.

Esc: This key is reduced to cancel any command, this key is also used when installing Windows.

Tab: With the help of this key you can jump from one paragraph to another.

Caps Lock: If you have to shorten or enlarge a word, then you have to use this key.

Shift: This key is used to use different shortcut keys, like if you have to create a new folder then you have to use shift.

CTRL: Using this you can work the shortcut key, as if you have to copy something, then you press ctrl + c will be copied, if you want to past then press ctrl + v will be past.

These keys are used in the task of giving Alt: Different command.

Enter: This key has a lot of work if you want to take a new paragraph, then you can use this enter key and there is a lot of work for this key

Pause Break: If there is a problem in reading something due to fast scrolling in the computer, then you can slow down and read that page using this key.

Print Screen: If you have to take a screen shot of any part of the computer screen, then you can take screenshot of pc using this key.

Delete: If you want to delete something from the computer without the mouse, then you can use this key.

Home: If you have come to the end of a page and you have to go to the 1st page, then you can use this key.

End: If you want to go to the end of a page, then you can use this key.

Page Up: If you have to scroll up with the keyboard, then you can use this key.

Page Down: If you want to peg down then you can use this key.

Insert: When typing something, typing is from the right side, but if you press this insert key, then it is typed on top of that word, meaning over writing, later retyping this key is the same as before. goes.

Back Space: If you are typing something and you have made some mistake, then by using this key, you can remove that text and come back to it.

Space Bar: This key is the longest under the keyboard, you can use this key to give an under gap to any text, meaning you can give space.

Num Lock: There are some number keys on the right side of the keyboard, if you want to lock and unlock those keys then you can use this number lock.


                           Types of Keyboard

There are many types of computer keyboards. It depends on the need of a user, what kind of keyboard he has to use. And such keybaord are made according to region and languge. So the keybord that we use in general is the same in appearance and same. There are just some advance keys here and some gaming types and some diffrent languge keyboards.


 
Let us now know what are the different keyboards and how they work-

qewrty: - This formation is most commonly used. You must have seen in your keyboard that these are the first six letters. It is used in most countries.

arzerty: It has been developed in france. It is also considered as standard french keyboard.

devorak: - This formation is done to reduce finger movement. In this, fast typing is done compared to both the above mentioned keyboards.

                         WIRELESS KEYBOARD

(Wireless Keyboard) relieves the user from the use of wire in the keyboard. Some companies have introduced the wireless keyboard. This keyboard works for a limited distance. This cordless keyboard is a bit expensive and has little technical complexity. Due to the technical complexity in it, its circulation has not been very high.

Alphanumeric keys

The Alphanumeric Keys are located in the center of the keyboard. Alphanumeric Keys consists of Alphabets (A-Z), Number (0-9), Symbol (@, #, $,%, ^, *, &, +,!, =). In this section, in addition to the digits, symbols, and alphabet, there are four keys Tab, Caps, Backspace and Enter for some specific functions.


 Numeric Keypad:


Numeric Keypad- has about 17 keys. In which numbers up to 0-9, mathematical operators like Mathematic operators like - +, -. *, / And Enter are keys.


Function Keys of Function:
