        difference between hardware and software

                    What is hardware?

Hardware is spoken to the Physical Component of a computer. If you explain in simple language, then the parts of the computer that we can see and touch them are called hardware.

All the Output Device, Input Device, Storage Device in a computer are all hardware. A computer without hardware cannot be imagined nor will a computer exist without hardware. We cannot use any software without hardware. Software is something that we can see but we cannot touch it.

If we want to get some work done by computer then we have to use both hardware and software to complete that work. Friends, to explain this, let me give you an example - if you want to listen to the song in the computer, then it will not happen that the computer turns on the song and you will listen to it, for this, we have to first start the song in the Window Media Player. And then we will be able to hear the same song through the speaker. So friends, you must have understood that all the hardware is controlled through software.

Types of Hardware

You must have seen two types of system

Keyboard

It is an input device. Without this hardware, we cannot even enter some data in the computer. With the help of this, we can do all the writing tasks of the computer. What you are reading now is also written with the same keyboard. Can also see and can touch. It is one of the most used devices. There are also other Hw components inside it. This device is plugged into a USB port.

Mouse

It is also known as pointing device and Cursor Moving Device. A Mouse can have 2 or 3 buttons. Like right, left, and middle button (Left key, Right key, Middle key Roller). They are all one HW. The mouse is placed on the Flat Surface or Mouse Pad. It is used to control Cursor.

Scanner

Monitor

A computer monitor is an electronic device that is used to show output in some computers. It looks just like a T.V. A large and fine display resolution shows us a good picture. These hardware are of small size in LAPTOP and slightly larger in Desktop.

CRT Monitor-

They are heavy and large and use a lot of deskspace and electricity. It is the oldest used technology. It is based on cathode ray tube technology which was made for television. But these monitors do not run today.

LCD Monitor

One way is flat panel display. These are newer technology than CRT. These monitors use less desk space. It weighs less. These monitors use less electricity. These monitors have been used for a long time on laptops and notebook computers, they also work as touchscreens on tablet computers, mobile phones.

Speaker

It is also External Hardware. By its use we can hear sound. It gives output as sound. Today it is inbuilt in the system.

Printer 

 With this help, we can mark the result displayed or displayed on the screen on paper or any solid object. We place the order and the printer follows our order by marking it on paper.

Mother board

MOTHERBOARD is an electronic circuit that coordinates in every part of the computer. All the devices connected to the mother board can communicate (exchange data). There are many BUS-LINES on the mother board which is used for communication of data. In addition to the BUS line on the mother board, there is a CPU, PCI SLOTS, GRAPHIC CARDSBIOS, MEMORY, SERIAL IN OUT LINES.

Processor

Processor is the brain of a computer. Just as the human mind controls the simple activities performed by the human body, so does the PROCESSING CPU done by the computer. Taking the data from the input window, perfroms the given instructions, sending them to the appropriate device which performs further action. In other language, the CPU complies with the instructions given by the user. The order of instructions given by the CPU user Also does DECIDE.

SMPS

The full name of SMPS hardware is Switch Mode Power Supply. It is an electronic circuit. If you buy it separately for desktop, you will get some square shape of the same SMPS. This device gives power to different parts of the computer. For example, the RAM, the motherboard, supplies power to the fan, so the power is consumed by the motherboard to different degrees.
